I've started shortening the links in the left column so that people with small laptop or other mobile device screens can view the tables without having to scroll. I'd appreciate your help in doing this here and the other pages with tables.
If you cannot come up with a meaningful name (e. g. by using the title of what you are referring to), create a tinyurl or snurl.
Always check whether your links work.
Thanks!

Please also add category names to your entry. The table can be sorted alphabetically according to category, link or description (Many thanks to Steve T.)

OK. Finished with shortening the Urls in this table. Now, someone please change the width of the Description column. It seems it has a fixed width and I don't know how to change that.

Hi Nergiz! You've worked a lot on this!. I'd rather subdivide it with titles as you mentioned not add other links, if you really want to give more guidelines to the ones who enter according to their level of knowledge. Do you agree?

Alicia, instead of titles we have the categories. To have titles, you would have to create a table of contents. We discussed this with Steve and categories seemed to be the best/easiest solution. The table/columns can be sorted alphabetically from A-Z and from Z-A by clicking on the column's name.

Yay, I've figured out how to change the width of the table (Edit-> Source)! :-)

Beware!!! Just found out that alphabetical sorting only works properly if ***all*** the category words either start with a capital letter or a small letter (not when they are mixed: tools Tools).

Nergiz, my comment was based on what was written at the top in orange regarding helping decide if we should create a different page for 'Beginner's' tutorials. Maybe this comment is not new and I did not have time to read about it before. So, based on what it says my idea was, subdividing the links by adding subtitles in between : Beginners - Advanced tutorials. Has this already been sort out or is still proposed? I love the idea of the categories, but guess as it's been proposed, some of them can be for more advanced learners than others.

Ah, sorry, Alicia. Just re-read what I had written there (it's been a while). We already have a page for Beginners with links to tutorials, freebie shops, etc. see here: http://snurl.com/90ckh My question was whether we should have a similar page (same layout) for Advanced SL users and delete the tutorials from this table and add them there.
But thinking about it again, I don't like that idea any more because I think that would again bring up the question where to post links (here or on the Advanced Users page). So let's keep things as they are. OK?

Yes! No problem about it. Shall we remove what's on top then?

Yes, will do that right away! Should have done that earlier :-)

Wonderful Nick! I had never thought about adding del.icio.us or Diigo bookmarks here because we started out with individual links that we had read and found useful. Thinking about it, it might be even a better idea to collect these links in one of the two bookmarking services. But I am reluctant to create yet another SLexperiments group that people have to join and yet another page to go.
I've added your links but, Nick, you are a member here, so go ahead and add anything you think is useful to any of the pages here.
Thanks!

Somehow the table lost the alphabetical ordering function. Does anybody know how to repair that?
